I don't know if you've read the forecast above, but if you do, you'll see that the temperatures here in Southern Alabama are supposed to get down into the 20's tonight!!! If that does happen, it will be the coldest weather that they've had here this winter!!! Brrrrrrr!!!!!! |
Jim and Linda took CLT and headed down to Foley yesterday morning. Their first stop was a Walgreen's Drug Store where Jim got his prescription refilled and Linda picked up a few items she needed. Then, they headed to the outlet mall to find a store where Linda could try to find some pots and pans.
But . . . . . although Jim had looked on the Internet to find the location of some stores, when they drove around in the complex, they were not able to locate the stores they were looking for. Of course if Jim had printed out the map off of the Internet, things probably would have gone better. : (
So, they headed to the Colman Outlet Store a little way down the road. But . . . . . again they struck out!! : ( Jim was looking for a certain type of chair and they didn't have anything like he was looking for!!
From the Coleman store, they headed back to Summerdale and picked up their mail at the Post Office before coming back here to the Plantation.
It was kind of a disappointing day, but Jim says he's going to print out a map of the Outlet Mall and they'll go back and hopefully Linda will be able to find what she's looking for. And, there's a Camping World store in Robertsdale, (just a little North of here), and Jim thinks they may have the chairs he's looking for.
Even though they didn't find what they were looking for yesterday, they enjoyed being out and about together and are looking forward to going out again to resume the search. ; )
Did you know that more than 35 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolate will be sold for Valentine's Day?
