We finally had a little rain last night. Don't know how much, I can't see the rain gauge that Jim has over by the fire pit, but I don't think it was very much.
Jim and Linda made some phone calls yesterday. Jim ordered a few items from Camping World and Linda made calls to some people they want to get together with before we leave here.
One of the calls she made was to her cousin, Mike and his wife Sandy, who live over by Indianapolis, IN. He had said that he'd like to meet Linda and Jim over in Hoopeston, IL. sometime, (where Linda was raised), and go to the cemetery over there so that Linda could show him where some of the family grave sites are located. So, plans were made and tomorrow morning, Jim and Linda will take CLT and head over there to meet them.
Another call that Linda made was to Mike and Jodi, (a couple that Jim and Linda met in a CG in Michigan), who live down in Champaign, to get together with them. Tentative plans have been made to meet up, (possibly here at the CG for a Cook-out), on the 28th of this month.
The rest of the day was spent just doing "things". Jim did a little trip planning and Internet surfing, Linda did some reading and caught up on the budget, and they both watched some TV.
Did you know that the first bird domesticated by man was the goose?
