Joe, Nancy, Sami and Amber came out to visit me Thursday evening. Jim cooked hamburgers and brats on the grill, Linda made a cauliflower casserole and Nancy brought buns and some salad. Sami and Amber seemed to really like me and commented on how much bigger is am inside than what Myrddin was. (Which, of course is mostly because of my 2 slides).
After eating, everyone sat and talked for awhile, but the girls had homework to do, so about 7:30, they left and headed home.
It was a good evening and I think everyone enjoyed the meal. : )
As you can see by the forecast above, it's really windy here. It started yesterday morning, after some showers and hasn't let up much since. At times, it seemed like the wind was coming from all different directions at once, and it was fun watching the leaves that had fallen off of the trees and were trying to find a resting place on the ground.
At times, the wind would pick them up and send them scurrying across the park in one direction, and then all of a sudden the wind would change direction or reverse direction and send them off the other way. Then, soon they were headed in yet another direction, going under and around RVs, trees, bushes, back and forth throughout the park.
Jim and Linda didn't go over to Joe and Nancy's yesterday. Jim wasn't feeling real well, (mostly allergies), so Linda just heated up some of the left-over pot roast from the other day, and they just stayed here and watched TV.
Don't know what's going on this weekend, probably more visiting and eating. ; ) Sometimes, Joe and Nancy are really busy on the weekends.
