A Trip To The Post Office

Forecast = Considerable cloudiness in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Highs in the upper 70s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Jim headed over to the Post Office yesterday morning to get some of those priority boxes. CLT, (Cute Little Truck), said that someone just pulled out of a parking space as he was pulling in so he got a pretty good parking spot, but once Jim got inside, it was another story.

There were so many people inside that he had trouble just getting to where they had the boxes. People were pushing and shoving and no one wanted to let Jim pass through the lines to get to where they had the boxes on display. He said that he thinks that some of the people were afraid that he was trying to cut in line and get ahead of them. : (

He did get the boxes though and soon he was back here putting them together and filling them with presents. : )

While he was doing that, Linda was busy working on the computer and doing laundry.

We had quite a bit of rain again in the afternoon, so Jim and Linda didn't go out to get the packages  mailed, but hope to get them sent out today. 

For diner, CLT took Jim and Linda back to Gram's Kitchen, and again, they had a very good meal.

Then, after they came back here, it was TV again until bedtime.
