They're gone!!!! : ( Yep, Gordy and Dorthy left around 10:00 and Dave and Dee Dee, and Denny and Bev left a little before noon. : (
I don't know when we'll see them again, but I'm hoping that Jim can juggle his trip plans around enough so that we can stop and see them down in Florida, for a least a few days.
Not a whole lot happened after they left. When Jim and Linda came inside of me, they turned on the TV and watched da' Bears win their season opener. Then, between naps, they watched some other football games on TV. Sometime during the afternoon, Jim carried the garbage down to the dumpster and then stopped and talked to Louise and Paul for awhile.
Today, Jim and Linda's friend Judy is going to be stopping by. Judy writes a blog titled Travels with Emma, and if you remember, Jim and Linda went out to eat with her at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant when we were out in Sioux Falls, SD in July.
I've never met her or her RV, but that will soon change when she spends the night here at Prairie Pines Campground. : )
This morning, Jim is going to take CLT (Cute Little Truck) in to have his brakes checked. Quite awhile ago, when CLT was at a tire shop for an alignment, Jim was told that the front brake pads were just about worn out, so Jim talked to Paul and then made an appointment for CLT at a place called Corkey's where Paul has had repairs done.
CLT also has an exhaust leak and a few other minor problems so they're going to look at those too while he's in the shop.
Did you know that The NFL's Chicago Bears were first known as the "Staley Bears"?
