Yep, It's Cold and Trip Plan G?

Summerdale, AL.

27 deg. clear, N. wind @ 2 mph.

Forecast = Sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. north winds 10 to 15 mph.

Yep, it got cold!!! As I write this, it's 27 degrees and I'm sure it'll drop another couple degrees before the sun comes up.

Needless to say, because of the cold and windy weather, hardly anyone was out and about yesterday, but Jim did go out and put some water in my fresh water tank and unhook and store the hoses in anticipation of the freezing temperatures. In fact, about mid-afternoon, a man from the park came around and handed all the RVers in the park a paper suggesting that everyone do exactly that.

Jim has been changing our trip plan again. (I think he's up to plan G now)  You see, he and Linda were talking the other day about how the trip plan felt "rushed".  So yesterday, he made a whole bunch of changes so that now, we can travel at our usual slow pace and spend more time at different places along the way if we want to.

One of the changes affects how long we'll be staying here at the Plantation. Now, instead of leaving here next Wednesday, we'll be staying longer.

Now, I know some of you are wondering how long we'll be staying. Well, that's one of the features that he now has built into the plan. The way it's set up now, we don't have to decide that today, and we can stay as much as a whole week longer if we want to!!! And, when we get out to Texas and we want to stay longer in "Hill Country", we can do that too!!

Of course there are limits on how long we can stay at places along the way, but there's now lots of flexibility built into the trip plan.

I think I'm going to like that!  ; )

Did you know that about 1 billion Valentine's Day cards are exchanged each year?
