If everything goes according to plan, today will be our last day here at the Prairie Pines Campground here in Rantoul. Tomorrow we will start heading up to Linda's family reunion that is held up at the Wisconsin Dells, in Wisconsin. It's only about 300 miles up there, but I've found out that Jim and Linda only like to travel 150 to 200 miles per day, so we'll be splitting the trip into 2 days.
This type of travel will be all new to me. My previous owner thought nothing of traveling 200 to 300 miles a day, covering lots of ground in just a few days.
During the last few days, Jim and Linda have been getting boxes and totes out of the storage area in the bathhouse and bringing them over to my site. Then, one box/tote at a time, they've been taking the items inside of them and putting them away in me. Jim says that there's not too much left over at the bathhouse, but they won't have time to move it all into me before we leave here. Louise says that it's OK to leave them here until we get back because there's lots of room in there that's not being used.
Speaking of getting back, I really don't know just when we'll be getting back here to Rantoul. We'll be up at the Reunion for a week and then from there we'll head to Sioux Falls, SD so that Jim and Linda can renew their drivers license. They also have some other business that they want to take care of in Sioux Falls, so I don't know how long we'll be staying there.
After that, there really isn't a plan. Linda has a cousin up in Minnesota that we may go and see, Jim and Linda went up into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last year after the reunion, and really liked it up there, (so we could go back there). Or, we may just come back here to Rantoul after going to Sioux Falls.
As Jim likes to say, "All our plans are written in pencil and we have a big eraser", so who knows where we'll be going.
Sounds good to me!! I like to just wander around!! ; )
A Point to Ponder : If your plan is having no plan, do you have a plan?
