Reunion Day 2

Lake Delton, WI

70 Deg. clear, no wind.

Forecast = Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent. Highest heat index readings around 95 in the afternoon.

As expected, Jim and Linda went over to the lodge where the reunion is taking place a little after 10:00. They were gone for almost 12 hours before they came back here around 9:30 in the evening. While they were gone, I just sat here and watched RVs and people come and go.

Not very exciting, but better than sitting on a dealer's lot somewhere. ; )

While they were gone, I found some pictures that Jim had taken of the lodge so I though I'd post a few  here today.

This first one is of one of the rooms as you enter the door and look off to your left. As you can see, there is a full kitchen, a large table and a "bar" where people can sit and eat.

Looking straight ahead as you come in the door there are 2 chairs and a couch that makes into a large bed.

When you go out onto the patio through the glass doors in the previous picture, this is view you see. Like I said the other day, this is a huge place and this photo shows only a very small portion of it. Oh, and can you see the fence on the left side of this picture? Well, that's one of the 5 or 6 pools that are within this complex. And, there's also a big water slide and a go-cart track.

More people did show up for the reunion yesterday and now Jim and Linda are waiting for Laura, Ashley and Anna to come today. They flew to Illinois from Florida yesterday and will drive up here to the Dells today.

Jim says that he's trying to get pictures of all the people attending the reunion, and if and when he does, I'll try to get them posted here.

Did you know that Wisconsin has 7,446 streams and rivers? End-to-end they'd stretch 26,767 miles. That is more than enough to circle the globe at the equator.
