Lunch At Gram's Kitchen

DeBary, FL.

32 deg. clear, no wind.

Forecast = Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph becoming north 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

About 11:00 yesterday morning, Laura called and asked if Linda and Jim would like to go out for lunch. Well, like any good RVer would do when there's family and a meal involved, they said "Of Course"! ; )

So, because Laura had some shopping to do, it was decided that they would meet Laura and Lindsey over at Gram's Kitchen about 1:30.

Needless to say, they had a great meal and a great time visiting with Laura and Lindsey, so it was a couple hours before Jim and Linda came back here to the park. Once they came back, it was basically football on TV for the rest of the day.

Did you know that on this date in 1870, a cartoon by Thomas Nast titled "A Live Jackass Kicking a Dead Lion" appeared in "Harper's Weekly?" The cartoon used the donkey to symbolize the Democratic Party for the first time?
