Cold, Anna and A Plan

Virginia Beach, VA.

31 deg. clear, no wind.

Forecast = Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

It never got out of the 50's here yesterday, and with the 30+ mph winds that were blowing it felt really cold!! : (  In fact some of the people who came into the park yesterday for the weekend, were wearing heavy hooded coats to keep warm.

Joe, Nancy and the girls were busy yesterday, so Jim and Linda didn't go over there. In fact, they didn't go anywhere or do much of anything all day.

So, I don't really know why I'm writing this post. I don't have much to write about and I'm sure you've got better things to do than to sit there and read my jabbering.

Oh, Linda did get ahold of Anna (her grand daughter), who live down in South Carolina and found out that she would be able to meet them for dinner someplace in Beaufort next Thursday night.  So, now Jim can call the CG down in that area and make arrangements for me to stay there for the night.

In fact, I think Jim is going to call a couple of other parks along our route and make reservations. Yeah, I know, he doesn't usually make reservations, but from experience, he's learned that at this time of the year, (when all the Snow Birds are heading South), it makes sense to at least call ahead to make sure there's a site available at parks along the I-95 corridor.

So, being that Joe and his family are busy today too, that will be the big project.

Did you know that Patrick Henry made his "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" speech in St. John's Church in Richmond, VA.?
